Our Story

Welcome to Apricus!

 

My name is Artur. Since 1999, together with my two nephews Aldo and Ildo, I have operated my own construction company in the charming village of Apricale.

 

After a few years, in 2003, we came across a beautiful cottage which we decided to buy together. After a great renovation, and with a lot of attention and care in the choice of all the local materials and furnishings, in August 2004 we opened Apricus and started receiving our first guests.  

 

In 2014 we opened our restaurant - Apricus Osteria - in the village and from that moment Ildo took care of the restaurant management, while Aldo focused on Apricus Locanda. I continue to manage of the construction & design company.

 

We are delighted that we continue to welcome guests after 19 years, and we still get a huge sense satisfaction from our business and from introducing guests to Apricale.

 

In 2021 the opportunity arose to buy a property very close to our little hotel, and together with our friend Petter, a Norwegian entrepreneur who trusted us, we bought, redesigned and renovated this new venue as extension of our existing hotel.

 

In April 2022, after a year of important works, we inaugurated the new wing with friends, family and returning guests to celebrate with us. We are very satisfied and proud of the result achieved and we look forward to welcoming guests old and new to the new Apricus.
